This is Gift. He was abandoned in a phone box when he was a baby. He didn't even have a name; no one wanted anything to do with him.

Happily for him, there were some people that did care. Hope House Orphanage took him in, loved him, fed him and named him - he is a gift from God.

Although it would be easy just to think of him as a number, after all, there are two and a half million other orphans in South Africa, but we think that he deserves a name; and much more.

Then there's Ten Medical Students.
They live in the UK, and have hearts for the poor and vulnerable, especially those in the third world, but they don't have the money and opportunities to help...

...until the Ian Burnell Trust came along, and helped them to make a difference. They have been provided with all they need to fly to Africa, and to India, to work and make a difference.

We think they need remembering, just as we think Ian needs remembering..

Names Not Numbers is committed to helping all those in need, both those suffering, and those who want to relieve that suffering.
